Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Details:
· Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:

· Development & execution of VAS systems plan in line with the company’s assumption and ensure its operability to achieve the desired objectives.

· Assisting in planning and architecture of systems and storage equipments based on application architecture.

· Experience within High Availability, large scale enterprise VAS environments

· Manage software licensing that are used internally to insure compliance

· Supervise and direct other network administrators

· Discuss and decide which Hardware needed for new products and services to introduce in close co-operation with other internal functions.

· Plan for Switch site requirement & communicate to ensure switch site readiness for new planned services.

· Develop Business continuity plan for VAS Systems.

· Technical advice for technology team of capabilities in the area of Systems

· Order necessary equipment from suppliers and liaising with them to ensure delivery schedule is met.

· Assure the Implementation of new systems or enhancement meeting Dead lines.

· Trial-testing release of new equipment.

· Configuring the system according to the technical procedures.

· Assuring Handover the new node to network operations meeting all Technical and Business Requirement.

· Load system software, configure and carry out field acceptance tests for VAS Systems.

Qualifications and experience

• BSc. In Electronics/Tele Communication or computer Science.

• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in the Telecommunication Field

• Preferred existing knowledge with the major existing IT/Telecoms systems suppliers
