IT Job Title: SQL Database Admin
1. Install, configure SQL server 2005 and administer SQL server cluster.
2. Upgrade database from 2000 to SQL 2005
3. Consolidate & Migrate database from server to server
4. Restore DBs in the production environment.
5. Disaster recovery and capacity planning.
Other requirements:
1. Candidate should have degree of Bachelor of Computer Science with minimum 7 years experience.
2. 3+ years of SQL server clustering
3. Hands of experience on SQL server 2005 installation, configuration and clustering and mirroring (High availability).
4. Very good knowledge in MS SQL server 2005 Architecture Performance measure, Hands on MS SQL condolidation.
5. MCITP:MS SQL server 2005 Administration certified.
6. Good Technical writing and good presentation skills
7. Hands on Back up and restore in production environment. SQL, TSM and HP data protector tools.
8. MS SQL development basic knowledge, experience in Biztalk server
