Job Title: Oracle DBA
Job Details: My client is a highly successful global software company, they are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to expand their team operating in Dubai. As part of the Technical Services Team, you will be charged with looking after the company's database infrastructure operating on a client site, you will be responsible for ensuring the systems are operational meeting service level agreements and customer requirements. This is a highly dynamic and changing role and will suit a forward thinking individual, keen on expanding on his / her skillset:
- Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex server and application based problems related to databases.
- Recommend and execute modifications to systems in order to improve efficiency, reliability and performance.
- Create and utilise capacity and availability processes to ensure availability, reliability and scalability of company's Oracle infrastructure.
Skills / Experience
- Hands on experience as an Oracle DBA (8i to 10g)
- Knowledge of related infrastructure elements
- Passionate about technology and keen to build on skills.
Essential skills -
· 3-5 years plus Oracle DBA experience
· Excellent communications skills
· Capable of delivering to the clients Service Level Agreement
· Fluent in English
· Good workload planning skills
Qualifications -
· Educated to degree level or relevant practical experience
Start Date: Immediate (subject to notice period)
Salary: Negotiable
