Dubai IT Job Title: Oracle Project Manager

The Group is embarking on the implementation of an Oracle eBusiness Suite solution incorporating Financial, HR and Payroll and Project Streams. The Oracle Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the management of the project on a holistic basis. They will interact with the business and IT stakeholders to manage overall project scope, schedule and budget.

Responsibilities will include the following areas:
• Produce, maintain and manage all areas of the project plan and resource plan from project initiation through implementation and deployment
• Identify and manage the risks and issues relating to the project and identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
• Ensure that quality reviews occur on schedule and in line with agreed procedures
• Actively participate in the change management process
• Attend and actively participate in the Steering Committee Meetings
• Liaise with the design, service delivery and business change teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget in line with the defined quality standards
• Liaise with Project Stream Executive Sponsors and Leads to ensure maximum efficiency in the allocation of resources and skills within the project
• Liaise with the third party implementation team to ensure agreed deliverables are completed efficiently on time and on budget
• Report on project status on a weekly basis and communicate throughout various organisation levels and departments
• Escalate and initiate development issues and report on issue resolution progress
