Dubai IT Job Title:Sr. Business Analyst (Arabic Speaker)

The Senior Business Analyst’s role is to devise and design business process requirements for all IT-related business and operations systems critical to core organizational functions. This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The Business Process Analyst is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports based on his or her findings, complete with recommended improvements to – or new requirements for – business processes and operational procedures. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments and to assist in implementing new computer systems. Strong full life cycle software application development background is required.

Analyze the business processes, services, satisfaction level of customers and company users, set priorities for improvement of such processes and services.

Identify key performance indicators and develop cost/benefit analysis sheets to forecast and measure the benefits.

Apply business process improvement practices, to reengineer existing business processes conduct As-Is studies, define To-Be processes, identify issues and risks involved and gather consensus from Departments involved on the implementation.

Identify bottle necks with existing processes and define how IT can help address bottle necks and issues.

Develop training, marketing and implementation contingency plan for proposed systems/ processes.

Develop business cases and feasibility studies for various new prospective software applications / e-services or new functionality in existing software applications / e-services.

Gather requirements from involved stakeholders, e.g., customers, Departments involved, prepare systems requirements document, finalize related diagrams.

Responsible for handing over conducted work to implementation partners (internal or external)

Develop systems prototype in coordination with development team; demonstrate to user departments as well as the selected customers groups to get their feedback for finalisation.

Develop the implementation plan, cut-off plan, data migration and cleaning strategy in coordination with department users and the project manager.

Develop test cases and test data packs based upon the systems requirements document, and user test data using selected real life data gathered for acceptance testing.

Develop a training plan and training material for end-users, which includes Departments and customers, and conduct the training courses for them on the new application.

Communicate with the project team and constituencies, develop and lead communications as part of systems implementation efforts.

Provide recommendations of new systems to the Strategy consultant (within the IT strategy and Policy department) to

Escalate issues/risks, and present periodic reports including strategy studies for improving the business processes, measure and report success factors and satisfaction level of users, customers to based upon key performance indicators and benchmarks.

Coordinate with external software vendors and IT consultants for outsourced projects.

Ensure target business benefits are being obtained.
